Alessandro Zacco belongs to the lineage of stallholders who have contributed to the literary culture of generations around the world. Passionate about prose and opera theatre, in 1961 he opened the bookshop, dedicating himself to scolastica, classical literature and essays with ample space for second-hand. His son Maurizio came here to study after school and has directed it since 1998. The offer is truly wide: ancient and modern prints, books from the ‘700 and ‘800 with fine bindings, Sicilian works. Used books include Italian and international collections of children's and crime literature, period magazines, and comics. Maurizio organizes presentations with authors and participates in festivals such as La Via dei Librai when the street transforms into a crowded city living room.
